Position: RF Field Technician
Location: Denver, Dallas, Riverton

Cerento, Inc., the leader in the design and deployment of wireless networks for the oil and gas industry, is seeking bright, energetic, and innovative individuals to join our Field Engineering team to deploy microwave radio networks.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Current ComTrain or equivalent certification in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue.
• Ability to climb up to 750’ telecommunications towers and experience in tower rigging.
• Must be familiar with a variety of tower mounting hardware for coax, waveguide, and antennae.
• Installation and removal of a variety of tower-based communications equipment including, MW dishes, heliax, waveguide, DC power systems, panel and omni antennae.
• Must have an understanding of communication equipment/tower grounding systems, knowledge of Motorola’s R56 or industry standard grounding practices is a plus.
• Experience with RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, microwave frequency/power meters and related test equipment.
• Daily reporting of project status and documentation of daily progress.
• Ability to understand and follow engineering design documents.
• Daily submission of hours and expenses.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Exhibit strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Comfortable serving as the customer-facing member of a field team.
• Ability to travel 70% or more, with weekend stays.
• Work history that demonstrates commitment and longevity.

Ideal candidates will also have:

• Experience with a variety of 900 MHz, 2.4, 5.4, and 5.7 GHz antennas. Technical experience with licensed microwave equipment a plus.
• Two years of experience working on towers.
• Prior experience conducting RF survey and site analyses work.
