BP Wamsutter, WY FAN Project

Cerento designed and installed a Field Area Network and Mobile solution in Wamsutter, WY in 2005. The installed RF network consists of the backbone infrastructure towers which provide access to wellsites and mobile communications to operator trucks and rigs.

BP Trumbull County, OH RF Analysis

Cerento RF Engineers conducted an onsite RF spectrum analysis of the entire county. This results of the RF Spectrum analysis were then used to create RF Coverage Maps for both licensed and unlicensed frequency bands.

The RF Study will be used in developing new field communications using the best frequency for their application while using the least amount of infrastructure towers therefore reducing implementation costs.

Merritt Energy Tower Inspections - EIA/TIA 222-G

Cerento Field Services conducts tower inspections for the Overthrust asset towers to ensure that all towers are within specifications. Thorough inspections are completed on the tower structure and all connectors are tightened to the manufacturer's specification. All mounting brackets and grounding connections are inspected for loose connections and damage. Corrective measures are taken in the event that corrsion or loose connections are discovered.

After the onsite inspection is completed a comprehensive report is created and filed. Cerento conducts inspections on these towers every 2 years.

The RF Engineering team also performance health checks on all of the microwave links to ensure that each link is running within the design threshhold. If performance issues are detected, corrective measures are applied. 
 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

BP Durango, CO FAN Project

Cerento designed and installed a 3 Phase Field Area Network to support automation in this asset. This included design and installation of a high-speed RF Network Backbone with buildout of new tower sites. Cerento also installed a 900MHz frequency hopping system for wellsite communications and high-speed 2.4GHz coverage for the larger sites. The 2.4GHz system allowed for polling of site data, supporting of security cameras and internet access.

Cerento also designed and installed the power systems for each tower location which included backup power.

The Network Engineering team designed and configured a secure network link between the field and BP’s existing networks.

Encana Tuscaloosa RF Analysis

Cerento RF Engineers conducted an onsite RF spectrum analysis in Louisiana and Mississippi. This results of the RF Spectrum analysis were then used to create RF Coverage Maps for both licensed and unlicensed frequency bands as well as licensed microwave backhaul links.

The RF Study was used as the basis of the Field Area Network that Cerento also designed. The goal was to provide communications to exisitng and future sites using the least amount of towers.

Cerento designed and constructed an RF Network for communications. Part of this project involved decommissioning of old RF equipment and power systems. This network also involved specialized Network Engineering due to the required VLAN configurations for traffic separation.

Cerento designed and installed a Field Area Network and Mobile solution in Big Piney, WY and Vernal, UT. The installed RF network consists of the backbone infrastructure towers which provide access for mobile communications to operator trucks.

Cerento is currently managing the network via a Maintenance and Operations Contract.

Cerento designed and installed an RF network that included new towers and wellsite towers that consisted of Canopy Radio and MDS radio Systems. This system supports drill rigs as well as automation trucks.

Linn Energy, WY RF Analysis

Cerento RF Engineers conducted an onsite RF spectrum analysis to provide insight on an impaired microwave link. This results of the RF Spectrum analysis were then used to to isolate the frequency issue and aide in the design of a new microwave link that will be stable.

Cerento is currently working on the design and installation of a new link that will stabilize their operations.

Devon Energy, WY

Cerento works with Devon Energy on network troubleshooitng, RF Analysis and troubleshooting, tower maintenance, tower construction and demolition, tower climbing and equipment installation/repair and security camera troubleshooting.

Encana, WY CMT Project

Cerento designed and installed a CMT (Cerento Mobile Trailer) which is a self-contained communications and security trailer. The trailer consists of a solar power system, NEMA enclosure, wireless system, telescoping mast and outdoor security camera. The wireless system connects to the existing Field Area Network for access to the corporate office.

These trailers are deployed to construction sites, high-risk areas and security check-points.

BP Jonah, WY FAN Project

Cerento designed and installed a Field Area Network using 3.65GHz Wi-Max in the Jonah, WY asset for mobile communications. This project included an RF Survey, Tower Structural Analysis as well as a tower replacement. Cerento worked very closely with the BLM in order to secure proper permitting for the new site construction.

In order to meet customer needs, Cerento created the MARS Trailer. The MARS Trailer is a mobile solution that ties into the main infrastructure and provides coverage in areas otherwise not covered. All custom truck communication installations are provided by Cerento.
